The above cover is from the new Japanese edition of Boris Vian's "Manual of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. It will come out in October. It will be interesting to compare my (Rizzoli and co-edited by Eva Prinz) edition of the same book.

The book was published in Japan in the early 80's, but this is a new edition with a new translation. I am thrilled that Vian is going all over the world. It is a remarkable book.
