PSYCOGEOGRAPHY: CLASSIC LONDON CAFES WEBSITE

Not only am I crazy about French and Japanese pop culture, but I am also a fan of London and its culture. Especially during the late 50’s to early 60’s. So it was a thrill to find this website devoted to the English Café, which is often called by its natives ‘Caff.’ I also love movies that take place in British Cafes – for instance films like "Expresso Bongo" with Cliff Richard. The British Café is a unique institution and this website seems to observe the ‘Caff’ with all of its social charm as well as its cultural and aesthetic importance to 20th Century British living.

Anyway, check out this website: http://freespace.virgin.net/a.maddox/index.html
