Adopt TamTam Boris Vian Titles

Through the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in the U.S., a donor can either adopt one or the other Boris Vian titles: ‘Foam of the Daze’ or ‘Autumn in Peking.’ Contributing to the ‘Adopt-a-Book’ will not only be helpful to TamTam Books (and Vian fans) but it is also for the donor because the donation is tax-deductible. Read more about the program and download the ‘Adopt-a-Book' 2002 catalogue at this site: http://frenchculture.org/books/prof/adopt.html

Here is a brief quote from the website about the program:

"Adopt-a-Book" is a program administered by FACSEA, the Society for French-American Cultural Services and Educational Aid.

It is aimed at private donors wishing to support particular publication projects. Every year, a dozen projects are selected, ranging from new translations of classic works of literature to cutting-edge studies in the Humanities. These titles of public interest are submitted to private donors and foundations for adoption, in order to cover a portion of the translation and publication costs.
